This farmhouse granite countertops supply & fit project was carried out in a room with very tricky access. Our team supplied, fabricated and fitted the granite worktops made of Azul Platino granite. The worktops are 30mm thick, with upstands all around. There are some interesting cutouts around the worktop where the timber frame building juts out of the wall, creating a beautiful combination of stone and timber.

The job required templating, cutting to size (and shapes!), with a polished sink cutout, set of drainage grooves and a hob cutout. The room-facing edges were finished with a single chamfer edge profile.

More about the material we used

Azul Platino Granite is one of the most desired stones in the world due to its beauty and mystic colour. This natural stone is found in only a few places in the world, so its supply is very limited. It is loved by interior designers, architects and engineers due to its configurable shapes, honed or polished finish and durability.

The veins running through this blue stone add to its mystical look. It’s a rare dark blue-coloured granite that stands out even in bright spaces. Its blue colour adds a royal look to any space it is used in.

It’s available in slabs, tiles, countertops and more.

This type of stone is unique, boasting a striking contrast between both its colours and its texture.

The colour of the stone is predominantly blue, with a subtle grey undertone. Its texture is smooth and shiny, with matte-like dots.

Azul Platino granite is most suitable for kitchen countertops, as well as other areas in your home or office. It is also suitable for bathroom vanities, backsplashes, floors, and more.

The most important thing, though, is the fact that each inclusion appears unique and with its texture and colour tone, which makes it look stunning.
