Dekton Sintered Stone - Trillium

Superior Abrasion Resistance

Because of its exceptional durability against abrasion, it makes for an excellent choice for both interior and exterior applications, including façades and floors in commercial settings where there is a lot of foot traffic.

Tough and Durable

In terms of toughness, Dekton surfaces are comparable to quartz, registering a hardness of 7/10 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. Its impact and scratch resistance makes it suitable for everyday use.

Dekton Laurent

Waterproof and Stain Resistant

Because of its low porosity, it’s remarkably resistant to water and stains, which can be efficiently wiped away with standard cleaning solutions, offering a low-maintenance solution for modern living.

Dekton Resistance to Fire & Thermal Fluctuation

It withstands temperature fluctuations well because of its low coefficient of thermal expansion. Because it’s A1 certified as non-combustible, projects using it can benefit from increased safety.

Dekton UV Safe

UV Resistant Dekton Surfaces

The colour isn’t affected by ultraviolet rays and therefore maintains the same appearance as the day it was installed, whether it is installed in an interior or exterior setting.

Dekton can be used externally

It provides superb performance and visual appeal in all architectural applications. It is suitable for use even in the most difficult situations such as façades, architectural features and floors.

Dekton external cladding on a building

A truly revolutionary, large format, ultra-compact solid surface by Cosentino. The material represents an entirely man-made, accelerated version of metamorphosis in nature.

The metamorphic change that occurs in natural stone over thousands of years as a result of high temperatures and pressure forms stones such as granite, marble and limestone. A similar process is applied to create Dekton, except it is done in hours, rather than millennia.

How is Dekton made?

The unique press that produces 25,000 tons of uniform pressure (2.5 times the weight of the Eiffel Tower) can be used to create a fully formed stone slab in a fraction of the time that nature takes thousands of years to accomplish.

Because of its ultra-compacted formation, it has no micro-defects that cause tension or weak points and has a near-zero porosity, which takes just a few hours to accomplish.

What is Dekton made of?

It is a unique material composed of more than 20 minerals extracted from nature. Using TSP technology, it bonds mineral particles together to create a sophisticated stone surface that’s perfect for use in interior projects and external applications.

Dekton Surfaces are Carbon Neutral

Dekton is the only Cradle-to-Grave Carbon Neutral surface on the market, where 100% of CO2 emissions are offset throughout the product’s lifetime.

A Cradle-to-Grave carbon-neutral product is one that is certified to have zero net carbon emissions across its entire life cycle.

The carbon footprint is measured and verified by an independent organisation recognised by MITERD (Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge), which is dedicated to reducing carbon emissions.

100% of the electricity used in production comes from renewable sources. Water is recycled and CO2 emissions in the production process are offset through investments in renewable energy.

All emissions are monitored and quantified to ensure compliance with internal standards. Dekton’s manufacturing process exceeds all applicable environmental regulations. It uses best practices to minimise its environmental impact throughout its supply chain.
