You can choose from a variety of colours and patterns to create a one-of-a-kind look. Porcelain wall tiles are an affordable and cost-efficient way to add flair to your kitchen.

Porcelain Floor Tiles

Porcelain floor tiles are durable, large-format tiles in a range of modern colours and finishes. They are ideal for high-traffic areas of your home, such as the kitchen, and are resistant to scuffs, stains, and cracks.

This type of tile is non-porous, which means it is less likely to trap dirt and bacteria and is easy to clean.

Porcelain Islands

Porcelain is a very popular material for making kitchen islands because it is a large-format material that can span a large area with no joins. The versatility and strong properties of porcelain make it perfect for cladding vertical and horizontal surfaces, meaning you can create a unique and high-end look for your kitchen island with it.

A kitchen island top can be created from a single porcelain slab, or a combination of materials to create a stunning centrepiece to any room, including features such as waterfall edges, integrated sinks and even hobs.

How We Install Porcelain in Your Kitchen

Once you’ve decided on the type of porcelain you want to use for your kitchen countertops and other areas of the home, MGD will come and template the areas for installation. Once we’ve taken a template, we’ll fabricate your products and then deliver and install them once everything is ready.

If you’re having other work done, we can either wait until you’re ready or work around other trades to ensure your dream kitchen is completed at a time to suit you.

Caring for Porcelain

When it comes to taking care of your porcelain, keeping it clean is important. Fortunately, it’s very easy to clean. It’s best to clean your countertops with warm water and mild dish soap. You can also use a natural stone cleaner, such as a baking soda and vinegar mixture, for extra protection.

If you have children or pets, it’s important to clean up spills as soon as they happen. It is stain-resistant, but it won’t stay that way if you leave a stain on it for a long time.
